Hello, I was told on Thursday I had Colon Cancer. I was on my own & I’m in complete shock! 

I sent back my screening on the 20th October. I received a letter saying my FIT was 104 so I needed a Colonoscopy. 
I had this on 10th November. It went well after that awful prep.( definitely the worse part) 

I had a 20mm sessile polyp in the Transverse removed & the biopsy came back negative. 
I was also told I have a 70mm giant polyp which was too awkward to take a biopsy so I needed a CT scan to have a good look at it. 
The scan was on Sat 22nd October. I was called in to the Bowel Screening dept & they said that I do have ‘C’. 

Everything is going to my MDT on Wednesday & I was wondering if the wait will be long for my operation. This is the most horrendous time , the days seem so long, waiting for more news. With Christmas around the corner too. 

             Can anyone help put my mind at rest. ?
