  • Hello John it's lovely to hear from you and thank you for your introduction!

You've certainly been through a lot having had AML and receiving a transplant from someone in Minnesota and I am glad that was a success and you are a lot better now. How unfortunate though that you developed lung and bone cancer since and I hope that the treatment is going well for you. I am glad you are in no pain at the moment and staying fit enjoying life in Coventry, continuing to walk and drive.

I can imagine treatment is not always easy and can get you down and I just wanted you to know that you are not alone and I hope that you will hear from other members of our forum who are feeling a similar way after receiving treatment for lung cancer. If at any point you wanted to talk things through with our cancer nurses, you can reach them on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Our community is always here for you anytime you need to offload and I hope that you will make many forum  friends here.

Wishing you the best of luck for the continuation of your treatment.

    Best wishes,
