Good afternoon, I'm in remission from acute myeloid leukaemia. Waiting on a bone marrow transplant. I'm 64, and was very fit and healthy. Now after 6 rounds of chemo I feel worn out, and a little depressed. Anyone else feel the same?

Good afternoon Stupea, and welcome to Cancer Chat.
It's great to hear you're in remission from acute myeloid leukaemia although I'm sorry about how worn out and depressed you've been feeling since finishing your chemo.
Quite a lot of our members who have been in this position have felt the same way Stupea, so you are not alone, and hopefully you will receive some support and advice from our community soon.
I hope this information we have about managing cancer fatigue and treating depression will be useful but if you'd like to discuss any of this further with one of our cancers, you can give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very easy to talk to and will do all they can to address any other questions or concerns you may have at this time.
Be kind to yourself and take things one day at a time Stupea. We're thinking of you and wishing you all the best with your bone marrow transplant when the time comes.
Kind regards,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
