cancer loss - my mum died from metastasised liver cancer 3 weeks ago. So brave right to the end

Hello.

My mum died 3 weeks ago with metastasised liver cancer.. so brave right to the end.. of course we are devastated and have a huge hole in our lives, the family matriarch has gone and as I was her carer and lived with her the silence and loss is unbearable. My heart goes out to anyone dealing with this horrible insidious disease.. it's soul destroying

I just came across your post and wanted to offer you my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

I can't begin to imagine how tough this must be for you and your family right now but I hope it helps to know that you are not alone as so many of our members who were carers for their loved ones will know exactly what you're going through and hopefully some of them will stop by soon to offer their support and advice.

Coping with grief is so, so, difficult, so be kind to yourself Blueorchid and remember that we will always be here for you when you need us.
