I am struggling with the not knowing or understanding.

I  had a routine colonoscopy where a problem with my kidney apparently raised its ugly head.I was given a urogram 4 weeks after.  I was so shocked I can’t even remember exactly why they said I needed one  

I was booked in for a urogram and I have waited 5 weeks for results and not heard a thing. Today after waiting the 5 weeks I was left a telephone message asking me to come in for a renogram next week and see the doctor. They gave no results from the urogram or said why I need a renogram. As you can imagine I am in panic mode ,have hardly slept through worry for 5 weeks and now I can’t even function. As I am having symptoms with my bladder and constant waking up at night I am very concerned.

    I'm sorry to hear you are still waiting to hear the results - I can imagine this must be concerning as well as frustrating.

    It sounds like you have an appointment coming up within the next few days - perhaps this will be an opportunity to talk things through and get a few answers. Try to make a note of any questions or worries you have, so you can talk it all through at the appointment.

    I hope it's not much longer to wait to find out more.

    In the meantime, hopefully you'll get more replies to your post soon, particularly from anyone who may have similar experience to share.
