Diep flap reconstruction - has anyone had this done? How did you find the procedure?

Hi everyone. Im looking for anyone who has undergone Diep flap surgery and how they found the procedure. I had a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy in 2023, after being diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Due to radiotherapy i have had to wait for delayed reconstruction. I'm 68 and just would like some advice from anyone who has had this type of reconstruction. Thank you
