I hope your oncology appointment went ok and you left with a clear idea of what your treatment plan will be. In terms of coping with news like this, it can hit people differently and, for your husband, it could be that he is finding it hard to know how to process your diagnosis and so is finding it difficult to engage with the leaflets. It might help to check-in with your husband, not only to get an idea of where his head is at, but to also work out how you're going to navigate things together. Regular communication will help you to reassure each other through what I can imagine has been a tough time for you both. We have some information on the many aspects of coping with cancer, which I hope will be useful, and this forum is here for you whenever you need it.
