Still going strong - had two different cancers since 2019 and I'm due my review this month. Getting near to 5 years and I'm feeling so anxious. How do you cope?

Diagnosed 2019 rectal cancer then 2022 liver. Im due my review this month as Im getting nearer the 5 years I must say this is the first time I have felt so so anxious . I. A very positive person and im finding this hard to deal with at moment anyone else finding it harder the more the years go on

Hi Sid0403,

I can understand feeling anxious if you have a review coming up. I'm sure this is a feeling many others here can relate to.

I see you have posted in the 'Ask the Nurses' section and received a reply from a nurse as well as another member of the forum - hopefully this has been helpful.

Try to take things a day at a time and - if it helps - try to keep busy.

Please also keep in mind that we are always here for support whenever you need it - even if it's just to write down any worries you may be feeling.
