I saw a advanced nurse practitioner on Tuesday as I had a raised spot on my elbow which was itchy.

She took photos and sent them to Dermatology.

I got a phone call from my GP practice to say dermatology wanted my GP to prescribe a cream.

I had no idea what this cream was for but after reading it is Fluorouracil 5% and treatment for skin cancer.

I am in shock. A typical Scot with fair skin and freckles. I have always been very careful with sunscreen.

Feeling a bit battered.
