Untreated stage 2 prostate cancer

I was diagnosed over a year ago with stage2 prostate cancer, but due to having  a triple bypass surgery and aorta value replacement still waiting for treatment. How long can I live without treatment.

  • Welcome to the Cancer Chat community Habbin although I'm sorry to hear you were diagnosed with stage 2 prostate cancer last year. I also hope you're recovering well from your triple heart bypass and aorta valve replacement. It sounds like it was a very big operation.

You can find out more about survival for prostate cancer on our website, but if you'd like to discuss your specific query further with one of our cancer nurses they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. With their insight and knowledge they will do all they can to support you and address your concerns.

Having to wait so long to get started must be very daunting, but we are here for you Habbin and we will have our fingers crossed your prostate cancer treatment will be able to get under way soon.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
