Worried mum - found out last week that my 18 year old daughter has suspected colorectal cancer

I don’t even know how to start this post but I’m a super worried mum of a 18 yr old F 

So the short version of of story :

my daughter has been so poorly since Xmas on and off stomach related issue and bowels doctors and hospital visits camera in June told us sue had a hiterial hernia and after lots of different medications and her looking extremely ill I asked to see another doctors and I gave the doctor a firm talking to and demanded they do some investigations  And last week as a result of lots of we received the news she has suspected colorectal cancer . We are not waiting a biopsy colonoscopy and she had a CT today . 
 I feel like I have been run over il so scared and my mind is blown but putting on my brave face

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I can understand this must be a really worrying time. It sounds like you did well in asking for those investigations.

    This uncertainty you are dealing with will be really tough I'm sure. Once you have all the results from these tests, it may help a little to have the information and a sense of what the next steps are.

    Try to take things a day at a time in the meantime. We are always here for support if you need it and I hope that the forum can be helpful for you - and that you get more replies to your post here soon.
