Hi JA60, 

It is normal to be feeling a bit overwhelmed with anxiety as you are waiting for these ultrasound results and it must have left you with more questions than answers to be told you had a bulky uterus and fibroids. I hope that the GP will be able to shed some light on what is going on and that you won't have to wait too long to find out more. 

Try if you can though not to draw any conclusions yourself as to what it might be or to look anything up online as there are so many other conditions it could be. All you can do really for now is wait - which is indeed the hardest thing and during this anxious waiting time I would recommend you have a read of our helpful tips on how to cope while waiting for important news. 

I hope that you will hear from other members of our community who have been in your place before and that they will tell you more about their own stories and outcomes. I am keeping everything tightly crossed for you that it all turns out to be nothing of concern.
