Annaj - finally been referred to gastrologist but don't know if getting a diagnosis is worthwhile. I'm 80.

I have had yellow diarrhoea for a few months now along with dark urine . My doctor has at last refers me to Gastrologist but at 80 don’t know if diagnosis is worthwhile. Am able to live with said problems show I just continue or risk going through treatments that make me feel worse

    It is worthwhile to see the Gastro clinic. They can tell you what is causing your symptoms. You do not have to accept any treatment but at least you will have the choice. Could be as simple as taking a few tablets each day to vastly improve your quality of life.
