Hi Ron_D, 

I am so sorry to hear you have been referred after the doctor identified a lesion by your left ear. You can find out on our website the different kinds of tests for skin cancer you might be having. It is normal to be feeling a little worried especially when you don't know what to expect. You will however be in the most capable hands and they will be taking you through all the right steps and tests to get a proper diagnosis as well as the right treatment for your condition. I know it's really hard but try if you can not to anticipate what it might be as there are so many other things it could be other than skin cancer and I am keeping everything crossed for you that you won't have to wait too long to get clarity on this. 

The wait for answers can be, as many members of our community will know only too well, the hardest thing and I wanted to share with you our helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news.
