A very warm welcome to Cancer Chat Sour-do, although I'm sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer.

It's completely understandable, and natural, for your mind to be all over the place at the moment as a cancer diagnosis can bring about so many thoughts and emotions.

Many thanks for your response Steph.After the few days since I was first told 

about my cancer I'm slowly coming to terms with things and beginning to feel a bit more positive and your kind words help a lot

That's good to hear Les. Be kind to yourself and give yourself all the time you need to process this news you've been given.

We do have quite a few prostate cancer members within our community so I hope you hear from some of them but like I said above, if there's anything you want to discuss further, just give our cancer nurses a call.
