I've had CML for several years now

  • I've had CML for several years now. (How do i find out when i was first diagnosed?).
  • I think I've coped quite well because of  my age, and the other health issues ie  ATRIAL FIBRILLATION,  COPD, ASTHMA, BRONCHITIS, and also PROSTATE cancer. I'm at a low ebb at the moment from having the above. 
  •    I attend a mens chat group and I would like to know how other people are coping with any of the above. .

    You've done so well to cope over the years, but it's perfectly natural for your wellbeing to ebb and flow over time. Talking is key to helping you process, check in with yourself and connect with others, so I hope the men's group you attend is giving you that space for reflection. This forum is always here for you whenever you need it and if you have any medical queries, you can speak to a cancer nurse via the free anonymous helpline on 0808 800 4040. Lines are open 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. We also have guidance around all aspects of coping with cancer, which you can refer to at anytime, and I'm sure they'll be members who can reach out to you with their own ways of coping.
