Sonographer has found bulky cervix. Uterus and ovaries seem fine and no fibroids found. I’ve been referred to gynae, but scared it’s cervical cancer. Has anyone else had this?
I'm sorry to hear what the sonographer found but I hope you can take some encouragement from nothing else untoward showing up on your scan.

Hi Gemzi, I have this too! I was just reading up on it when I came across your post. I've had three ultrasounds over 4 years and a follow-up appointment next month. There is no reason to think it's cervical cancer. My GP did a blood test for cancer markers before I had the ultrasound (which were negative). The sonographer told me that there could be a polyps that she can't see on ultrasound. I'm happy to chat about it if you want to.
