Hello my name is dave I have recently had my prostate removed and wearing a catheter. But it seems to block up regularly. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks
I'm sorry about the troubles you've been having with your catheter since having your prostate removed. This must be very frustrating.
Hopefully some of our members who have experienced this will share their tips and advice with you soon, but if you'd like to speak to one of our cancer nurses about this you can give them a call on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all they can to help.
If you haven't done so already, do let your medical team know so they can help you manage this as well.

Hi Dave had mine removed in January yesterday mine use to block where it goes into the bag was just blood clots easy to clear out but gets uncomfortable when it backs up good luck with recovery
