Acinic cell carcinoma

Hi everyone

I've been diagnosed with the above. I've had a lump surgically removed from behind my ear and every medical person I saw said it was benign.

3 weeks after surgery I have an appointment and find out out was cancerous. Not what I expecting. Because of the facial nerves they couldn't take the margin out and I'm having precautionary RT on the right side of my face and neck.

I went to have my mask fitted today. I'm claustrophobic but was confident I would be OK because the mask has holes. But no one told me I wouldn't be able to open my eyes which is a big problem for me. So much so I fell apart during the CT and couldn't do it. I asked for eye holes in the mask. They said no because it would make it difficult to pin point the area needed. However, I've been researching it and this doesn't seem to be the case if the mask is tight. So I'm going to push forward with this when I go in.

I would appreciate any advice on this.

Thanks
