HPV positive but no abnormal cells. Have a colposcopy tomorrow. What will happen at my appointment?

Hi,

Please can anyone give me some advice, I had the Lletz procedure in Nov 2024 to remove cells which were cin1 & cin 2.

I had my 6month smear in June 25 which have come back as hpv positive but no abnormal cells. I have been called back for a colposcopy.

Now I'm worrying as I thought because I didn't have any abnormal cells I would just have to have a smear done in a year to keep an eye on them.

Has anyone had this happen to them and can advise what I can expect at my appointment tomorrow. I'm so worried I don't want to go through this all again.

Thanks Ladies
