It sounds like you've had your appointment - hopefully you have been given an idea of when to expect to hear the results and information about next steps.
I know that the uncertainty will be difficult - try to take things a day at a time and focus on keeping busy where possible.

Hi Jools. After a hysterectomy and oopherectomy I had 6 weeks of daily radiotherapy with chemo running at the same time. In between the 2 types of chemo I had 2 sessions of brachytherapy. This was from July to November. I think the order of things may depend on where you live.
Totally understand your anxiety...it will feel a little better and positive once you get rocking with their plan for you. Take care x
