a bit about me - just had salvage radical prostatectomy after cancer came back. Trying to manage my recovery and scared about what's to come

Hi. I have just had salvage radical prostatectomy after cancer returned following hormone treatment and radiotherapy. Its been a difficult 50 days after surgery and just dealing with the incontinence and trying to manage the next stage of recovery. I feel guilty about being lucky in a way but still scared about whats to come . I have never reached out to others going through this. thankyou

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I am sure this must be difficult and I can understand the feelings you describe.

    I'm glad that you've found the forum - it is often useful to speak to others, particularly those who may have similar experience. It can also be helpful simply to write things down.
