Lou - mastetctomy and node clearance this week, struggling with sleep

hi all

i was dosgnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma pr and er postive her2 negative 6 weeks ago. Yesterday I had a single mastectomy and full lymph node clearance. I’m not in any pain but can’t sleep. I was wide awake after the op and only managed an hour tonight so got up and having a cuppa with my teenage son who also can’t sleep. I’m not concerned about anything or stressed I just seem wide awake and found this group so thought I would say hi

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear you're struggling with this at the moment, but I'm glad you've managed to find the forum. Hopefully you will find it to be a helpful space to write things down and reach out to others.
