  • Hello Sue64

I'm sorry to hear that you've had ongoing health problems now for quite some time, and you feel that no one has been listening to your concerns. It's understandable that you're feeling alone at the moment.

Have you made an appointment to see your GP since you had the spotting? If not, then do make sure you call them and let them know that you have unexplained bleeding in addition to the symptoms you've mentioned. It can sometimes help to put your concerns in writing so that when you see the doctor, you can ensure you share all your symptoms and concerns. You might also have a friend or family member that you could ask to go along to the appointment with you for some support. If you still feel that the GP isn't taking your concerns seriously, then you can ask for a second opinion from another doctor in the practice.

If you think it would help to talk things through with one of our nurses then you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.

I hope that you get some answers soon Sue64 and that the medical professionals can give you some reassurance.

    Best wishes,
