  • Hi ricbux and a warm welcome to our forum,

I am so sorry you have been struck down by an aggressive brain tumour  and I can imagine this has all come as a bit of shock for you. It's normal to feel a bit shaken by what happened and to be a bit anxious about the treatment journey that lies ahead and you can read more on our website on treatment for brain tumours. I am so glad you have a supportive family even if they are all in London and I hope that your lovely lady friend is giving you lots of comfort and support during this difficult time. It's normal to be experiencing bouts of sadness but you seem to be finding some really good strategies to combat it like comedy and John Cleese to make you laugh and distract you during this anxious time while you are having to deal with the wait.

As you say, this is an uncertain journey and I hope you get a bit more clarity soon on what to expect but I just wanted you to know that you are not alone and you will hopefully hear from others on here who have been in a similar place before. It does help to talk to others who are or have been in a similar boat.

    Very best wishes,
