A very warm welcome to the Cancer Chat community Shelby, although I'm so sorry to hear about your mum and that she's been given an estimated six months to live.

It must have been absolutely heart-breaking to hear this news and I can't even begin to imagine what you must be going through at the moment, but one thing I know for sure is that you are most definitely not alone Shelby as so many of our members have been through this with their loved ones as well and hopefully it won't be long until some fo them stop by to offer their support and advice.

We do have some information about dying with cancer on our website, but if you would prefer to talk things through with someone then do give our cancer nurses a call. They're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all they can to support you and answer any other questions you may have at this time.

I know nothing I can say or do will make this any easier Shelby but I hope you can take some strength, and comfort, from knowing that we are here for you and will do all we can to support you on the rest of this journey.
