I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis and understand just how shocked and confused you must feel. My advice is to steer clear of the temptation to consult "Dr Google". Much of the information is poorly researched, out of date and won't give you any answers. This will only serve to scare you further. The whole process should be explained to you at your consultation. Write a list of any questions you have and bring this with you. If you have someone who can accompany you, bring them with you too. It is all too easy to get overwhelmed with information, at your appointment and two sets of ears are better than one for remembering what is said.

It sounds as if your positivity is already placing you in the right frame of mind to tackle this and it will stand you in good stead. You will have ups and downs throughout your cancer journey. Place your trust in your care team and hold on to that positivity - you've got this!
