I was diagnosed with prostate cancer on February 17th 2025 and after talking to a consultant decided to have my prostate removed, I received the date , 15th April.

The operation went well , i just had some slight abdominal pain , the catheter and staples were removed 2 weeks after my op which was pain free, it was explained to me that I might have some incontinence and yes I did and 6 weeks post op I am still leaking but there is a very slight improvement, it is very frustrating because at night I am totally dry and when I am sitting I am dry but when I stand up it just pours out, I know it will hopefully get better but it is very frustrating and making me quite miserable, I feel guilty moaning because hopefully my cancer has gone but I can't help the way I feel, I don't regret having the op , in fact I have been very lucky, I just want to be back to norma.l
