I also had bowel cancer which had spread to 8 lymph nodes in Nov 22 so had 6 months of chemotherapy I think it’s the type of chemo they use for bowel cancer that does this it affected me badly I had to have mine spread over 8 hours and the dose refused to 60% it destroyed the nerves in my feet and hands I now have neuropathy I do no people who made complete recovery from it though guess it was just bad luck for me

Thank  you for getting back to me .. I do have pins and needles in my hands and feet if I touch cold things .. did this happen to you 

Yes it did it would last about 8 days after each chemo session then would go but on my final session it didn’t go just got worse now I need a stick to walk tried all sorts of meds but many of them gave me horrific nightmares so now I just have a sedative to help me get to sleep at night and just have to put up with it, is your chemo called oxiplatin I think that’s the one they use for bowel cancer I hope you make a good recovery unfortunately I didn’t as it has now have lung metastasis both lungs
