HI Lindyloo74,
A very warm welcome to our forum.
I am sorry to hear that you are so tired and that you feel your legs so weak. As our moderator, Renata, has said, many of us feel exhausted after treatment. This can settle after a few months, or it can persist. I had to have both knees replaced, as a result of hormone treatment, for 2 bouts of breast cancer, within less than a year of each other. That was all 15 years ago now, but I still suffer from extreme fatigue and now use a walking frame or a mobility scooter to get around.
I have attended Physiotherapists over the years and I also attend a keep fit class. Last year, I was referred to Hydrotherapy twice a week. I find this more helpful, but I don't think that I'll ever get back to my pre-cancer fitness levels. I have come to terms with this now and reluctantly had to accept the "new me post-cancer". As far as I'm concerned, my surgery and treatment may have caused some additional challenges, but they have afforded me an extra 15 years with my loved ones and, for that I am grateful.
Do please have a word with your care team and see if they will refer you to see a Physio, as they may be able to help you to build up your leg muscles and ease the situation.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
