breast cancer

Hello, could someone please guide me with a question I have. I live here in the UK, and my daughter lives in my home country. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and is alone. I wanted to know if there's any way you could help me. It would be very helpful for us. Thank you very much. This is very difficult.

  • Welcome to the forum, Minok,

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter’s diagnosis, and I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you, especially with the distance between you.

It's understandable that you are feeling worried and want to find ways to support her. While we are a UK-based forum and cannot offer help directly to people overseas, you're very welcome to use this space for support and to speak with others who may have been through something similar.

We also have a page on our website about breast cancer, which gives information about the condition and different treatment options.

If you would like to talk to someone, you are also welcome to call our  nurses on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This is such a difficult time for you and your daughter, and we're here for you if you need to talk.

    All the best,
