Thinking about trying homeopathy for my liver metastasis after I finish chemotherapy

Hi

i I have metastasis in liver due to having bowel cancer a couple of years ago, I have had 4 microwave ablations in last 2 yrs but still no better for having it, I am now on chemotherapy again and not sure this will do any good, so have been looking into trying homeopathy when my treatment finishes in a couple of months, have any people on this site tried any other form of treatments.
thanks

  • Hello Aunt.M

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis and that your previous ablation treatments didn't provide any benefit. It's understandable that you may be feeling worried about the impact of the chemotherapy treatment that you're currently undergoing. Hopefully the specialists will be able to give you some reassurance when your treatment finishes in a few months.

We have some information on our website about homoeopathy that you may find helpful to read through. There is no scientific evidence that homoeopathy can prevent or treat cancer but you should tell your cancer doctors if you decide to try homoeopathy in case of any adverse reactions with other conventional medications you're taking.

If you'd like to talk things through with one of our nurses, you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.

    Best wishes,
