I'm sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and have a stent fitted in your throat. This must be a very difficult and challenging time.

I am going for results tomorrow , of endescopy , if it is cancer I am not sure about treatment offered ,if terminal I prefer quality of time instead of quantity of time
Remember that whatever they tell you your prognosis is it isn’t set in stone. The statistics they use are only accurate when applied to large groups of people and are merely educated guesses when applied to a single patient.
In 2013 I was told that my stage 4 Oesophageal Cancer was terminal with a 2 to 6 month prognosis without chemo and 6 to 18 months with chemo - with a 3% to 5% chance of surviving 2 years.
I’ve met four people with an almost identical story.
