I am sorry you have been waiting so long for your appointment and I can completely understand why your anxiety is sky high at the moment. 5 weeks is a long time to have to wait for an urgent appointment and you did well to ring the hospital multiple times - you could also mention to them that you are going away soon and would be happy to take any cancellation. It sounds like it could be another 3 weeks maximum so hopefully that won't clash with your trip to Florida in 8 weeks' time. 

Waiting for tests and results is so stressful and the wait can truly feel endless so I thought I would share with you these helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news. I really hope that you will be seen before you go away so that you can breathe a bit and relax during your exciting holiday.

That is a long wait for you and it is very stressful. Especially as you are looking forward to a family holiday. Dont forget to check out you insurance cover before you go on holiday. Hope it all goes well and your appointment and holiday all fall into place.

hi thanks so much for reply i will try that. yeah really hoping to get it sorted before i go juts didn’t realise the wait would be so long as doctor reassured me id get seen within the 2 weeks. was really excited about the holiday for a long time now i cant stop worrying. thanks for reply really appreciated
