Hi Mags I had this treatment about 12 years ago. I had to go daily for 5 days. The treatment lasts less than a minute each time and you feel nothing. The nurse put an apron on me and I had two weighty discs put on my eyes to protect them. At the end of treatment your nose will be a bit red but this will be healed after a month. It is a highly successful treatment for shallow skin cancers. Better than surgery where there may be skin grafts needed risk of infection scars etc. No need to be scared and I hope this treatment kills the cancer.
I had one of these on my eyelid _ they did an excision biopsy and ended up with 2 stitches but it's invisible now and obvs they took the whole BCC and it's never come back _ my friend had the same and had radiotherapy on her chin, it looked sore for a bit but it soon cleared up
