BRAF mutation with colorectal cancer - has anyone else had this?

Hi. 

Has anyone been been advised they have the BRAF mutation with colorectal cancer. I've got bowel cancer alongside liver metastasis. Not a lot of info out there. Looking to chat with someone of similar experience. Avoiding googled obviously as so scary and my oncologist just told me it makes the cancer more aggressive.

    What is your BRAF mutation? I have G469C with colorectal stage 4 cancer.

    There are two Facebook sites that are very informative regarding BRAF mutations:-

    Breaking BRAF

    Bowel Cancer / Colon Cancer with BRAF mutation

    Today I've also spoken to Datar Cancer Genetics as I'm looking for a tailored response to the best treatment for me.
