I am so sorry to hear about your recent breast cancer diagnosis and I hope you won't have to wait too long for the results of your PET scan and that you find out more soon and get all the details as it can be a really anxious time when you know you have been diagnosed with breast cancer but you don't have all the pieces of the puzzle so you may be feeling a little bit in the dark still now. And this feeling of uncertainty, of waiting for answers and for a treatment will inevitably increase your anxiety. It's normal as a result that every little twinge or pain you will think is the cancer when it may be unrelated but if you are worried about anything including your taste loss, talk to your medical team about these issues so that they can reassure you. I noticed on your other thread that you heard from some of our other members who have been in a similar place before and I hope that others will pop by and respond here too and share their story with you.
