Please don't delay in seeing your GP. If this does turn out to be cancer, the sooner it gets treated, the better the outcome should be. Delay will only make the situation worse.

I echo what Jolamine says. If you don't go to the GP, the worry will likely eat away at you and effect your way of life, your physical and mental health . negatively
It's really scary going to these sort of appointments but I think it's amazing how strong one finds one can be in situations like this .
You may well find out it isn't cancer and that will be such a relief!
Of coyrse if it is cancer it's not such good news but if it's been caught early that would be fantastic too . So many advances in treatment have been made in the last few years it's not necessarily the horror story it was in years gone by .
