Hi everyone, on April the 24th last year, I had a colon resection operation carried out, along with 20 lymph modes removed, all which came back as ok. Since then I must admit I felt better and healthier before I had the op. I’ve had a consultation with the surgeon, and two with my specialist nurse, where bloods were taken and everything came back as ok. But I find I’m more constipated now than I was before, I’m finding it hard to get answers on how to deal with this. As my GPS are none existent practically. At present I take dioctyl 2x on a morning and 2x at night and still I struggle. Recently I had my first colonoscopy carried out, which in my opinion was brutal to say the least, but since then, I have been having very sloppy stools which I struggle to pass, as they are in my opinion, too soft. I’m eating more fibre in the hope that it will bulk me up. The colonoscopy report said everything was normal, but I had a CT scan report from my surgeon in which he says that I have a 6mm stable module on my left lung, and a 7mm rim of soft tissue around where the colon was joined. I’m due to see my colonoscopy nurse on the 4th of April, with a further Ct scan on the 16th of April. Just wondering has anyone ever dealt with this before. Thank you.
