Hi everyone
literally just found this site and joined. My headlines…..
January 2024 underwent emergency surgery for what they thought was ovarian cancer. Turned out to be colon cancer. They removed everything, Full hysterectomy, section of my colon, lymph nodes, stomach apron….
In October 2024 a CT showed a ‘small anomaly’. Since then I’ve had two MRI’s and another CT.
Today I received the news i have a small growth in my abdomen and two in my lung. To be honest I’m still feeling numb and overwhelmed.
My case goes before the specialist committee next Monday and I’ll have a follow up with my consultant after that session. Meanwhile I’ve been told that it’s highly likely the treatment plan will be chemo. I’ve heard so many scary stories about chemo …..
Are there any do’s or don’t I should be aware of?
Thank you for reading x
