Pre-cancerous lumps

Hi folks,

im just inquiring if anyone has had Pre-cancerous lumps around your back end, I was told it was cancerous but never had any treatment, just the surgery, they said they had got it very early, what ever that meant. They had asked if I had any questions, but at the time I just stuck my head in the sand & didn’t want to know anything.. I dealt with everything on my own, as my partner had a heart attack 6 months previously & didn’t want any pressure added, so kept everything to myself, including all appointments I went on my own, I had 62 hospital appointments in 5 different hospitals last year & I was feeling very low last year !!

I had surgery to get they removed a year ago Because I was constantly bleeding, from the lumps & also bleeding dark red blood in stools in January But they have come back again..

when I sit in the bath I feel like I’m sitting on sponges (is the only way I can explain it) then about 15mins later it starts getting uncomfortable & I start getting pins & needles in my back end & it starts moving down my legs.
Has anyone else ever had this done & subsequently any after effects ?

it seems I’m always sore around my back end constantly especially when I try & poo..
im not really sure if this is the right place to ask, but thought I’d give it a try & see !!

much appreciated P..

  • Hi Petey36,

I can imagine you must be very worried about these pre-cancerous lumps and it's reassuring that they caught them early. You were very brave to go through this on your own and I am so sorry your partner had a heart attack and you had to keep everything to yourself - it must have been such a stressful time for you. It must have been frightening too to see all this blood. If you haven't done so already, it might be worth mentioning to a doctor this sensation you describe of getting pins and needles and feeling like you are sitting on sponges when you are in the bath. Mention too that you feel sore in your back end.

Other members of our community may have been through something similar before and suffered similar symptoms and I hope that they be along shortly to share their experience with you.

I hope that things improve for you soon and that you can talk to someone about these issues.

    Best wishes,
