Recent diagnosis of High Grade Serous Uterine Carcinoma

Hi, I underwent a total Hysterectomy on 29th January after being very quickly diagnosed with cancer of the womb. On Friday received the diagnosis above and I am meeting with the Oncologist this Friday to discuss a programme of Chemo and Radiotherapy. n a bit of a shock about it all to be honest as its all happened so quickly. Just wondered if there's anyone out there who has been diagnosed with this rare cancer too and can offer some advice re forthcoming chemo journey?

I can understand that the speed of things might make it harder to process, but your oncologist will be able to address your concerns and questions at the appointment on Friday. It's important that you leave the appointment feeling informed and prepared so I hope it goes ok. Thank you and glad to say the meeting with oncologist went well and was positive. I am starting chemo week commencing 24 March for 6 cycles and then radiotherapy. Ready to face the next 6 months now x
