Mammogram recall

Hello, I have just found this site during my nighttime anxiety scrolling! 

I have been recalled following my routine mammogram. I had the letter on Monday and the appointment is Wednesday. This is my 4th mammogram. I am 53, but have had previous cysts so have been screened more than usual. Will they have compared these already? 

I have also have skin cancer, all clear now, but my anxiety is through the roof. I now think I can feel a lump, but know I am probably overthinking.

    I understand it can be tempting to look for answers online, but this can end up increasing anxiety rather than making you feel better so it's best not to look online too much. I hope your appointment went ok today and if you find that your struggling, we have advice around coping with waiting for news, which I hope will be helpful.

    Hi thank you. My appointment went well, I’ve had a biopsy - on the lump I could feel - which wasn’t showing  on the mammogram.  I also need a different biopsy on the other side in the calcium deposits that were seen in the mammogram. So although I need some further investigations I’m feeling positive. The team were fab and explained everything brilliantly .
