Was told it was Fibroadenoma but now it's PASH

I'm new to this and quite nervous. ... I found a lump in Jan and was referred to breast clinic, they said it looks like fibroadenoma on US and mammogram but took a biopsy. Before I left they even gave me a leaflet about Fibroadenoma and said nothing to worry about. A week later I get a call to say I need to go back in to have more biopsies taken as its not fibroadenoma, something called PASH (never heard on it). Has anyone ever been told its suspected PASH (which is benign) but then turned out to be the big C????

I can understand you might be nervous, so don't be afraid to ask questions and speak to your doctor at future appointments. You can read more about Pseudoangiomatous Stromal Hyperplasia, or PASH, on the Breast Cancer Now website, which mentions that it's a benign condition and doesn't increase your risk of cancer.

Thank you. I guess you become anxious when you don't know what it is. Results still yet to be confirmed as they had to take 6 samples just to be sure.
