Had a colonoscopy 3 days ago after blood found on routine fit test. No symptoms so really shocked when told its a likely sigmoid tumour. I could see it on the screen I think and the nurse tried to distract me. Booked in on monday for CT scan and waiting for MDT pathway. Just trying to carry on as normal but reeling from it all. Fully but naively expected to walk away with no or few problems.
