I had Cisplatin (5 sessions in total) for stage 3 Vulva cancer. It wasn't too bad to be honest. I didn't feel sick but I did struggle to sleep for a couple of days after but I think that was probably because of the steroid medication that they gave me.
My appointment time was usually around 11ish and I was done for around 2:30/3pm.

thanks for that info did you have radiotherapy everyday ? . That is what I am having . Also I’ve been told because it is so toxic to kidney I will need infusions in between and I’ve also been told I will be there for 6 hrs at least . Not sure if different hospital have different regime . I’m glad you said it wasn’t to bad sickness wise as I have to do everyday . Thankyou very much for your reply and hope your doing well x
Yeah I had 25 sessions of pelvic radiotherapy - Monday to Friday. I actually felt that the side effects of the radiotherapy were worse than the chemo.
They were really good anti-sickness wise.....they gave me something before the Cisplatin then some medication to take home with me just in case but I never had to take it thankfully.
