Hello my name is Wendy. I am 57 and have been called to have my first mammogram next month. I believe you’re supposed to be tested at 50. But I wasn’t offered it here in Yorkshire back then. My breasts have always been painful and still are even after menopause. I’m terrified that something could be wrong after going so long without screning. I am a carer for my husband who has stage 5 kidney failure so I have a lot to deal with already. 
im just really worried about having the mammogram done.
