Newly diagnosed with cancer in rectum, kidney and lungs. Really shocked. Will be having surgery in 2 weeks time

Hi I have recently been diagnosed with cancer it's in my rectum ,kidney and both lungs iam really shocked as to it been in 4 places iam getting an operation to remove the rectum and kidney in 2 weeks time then to go on to remove parts of my lungs I will have a stoma bag i seem to be copeing ok at the min buf haveing a heavy feeling on my chest iam sure this must be anxiety

    Hello. You will of course feel anxiety. How long ago were you diagnosed? Was there a delay in you getting diagnosed? My son was diagnosed with a tumour in his oesophagus yesterday so we are all reeling from this news. have you got people around you to support you?

    Iam very sorry to hear about your son I hope he gets his treatment soon I was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago but my hospital have been absolutely amazing iam already booked in for some surgery for the bowl area and my kidney removed I will have a stoma bag ,then I will be getting a part of each lung taken away as soon as iam fit enough for another operation then chemo. I have a good family around me and plenty of support thankyou for your reply sending big hugs to you your family and of course your son xx
