To have or not to have Brachytherapy

I’ve had a total hysterectomy due to endometrial cancer 1b I’ve been told it was contained and all removed. I’ve been recommended brachytherapy but I’m very concerned about side effects in relation to my bowel as I suffer with severe diverticulitis and couldn’t put up any more issues with that. I need advice from someone who had brachytherapy and their experiences . Thanks
