  • Hello Buddha

I am really sorry to read your news - I can only imagine how you must be feeling. However, we had similar news for my husband back in July - stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes & lungs. He is 63.  It is truly devastating for him, our family & friends.
He is 6 sessions through folforinox chemotherapy (a triple aggressive strength palliative chemotherapy) with another 6 to go. It is tough and the problems he’s had haven’t directly related to the chemo bizarrely.
You are wise to keep up with the healthy calories and if you can - keep active. My husband takes a walk every day, goes out for coffees with friends and takes advantage of his good days. There are many good days :)

My best advice if you are looking for done is - accept all the help you get offered. Whether that be with friends or family as it not only helps you, it helps them too at a difficult time when people want to help.
Also, please speak to the macmillan people at the hospital - they are wonderful and will guide you through financial, emotional & practical information.

Lastly, please contact the pancreatic cancer charity - they put you in contact with a clinical nurse specialist who you can email and ask all your many questions. My CNS has been there when I’ve had really tough days to navigate and she’s there to be there fur your happy days too.
    Thinking of you
